A little gem and treasure in Muswell Hill! They always have the best birthday balloons, cards and toys! Today is the first time I took my little dog there, he was treated so nicely with fresh water in this terrible heat!! A great experience and thanks to the owner and shop keepers. ❤️

I’m really glad I came across this shop. It can be on the pricey side of things; however having said that, all items are of high quality, something other gift shops in Muswell Hill doesn’t have. It’s definitely one of the best gift shops in the area, beautifully laid out and has some really cool board games for adults. Definitely coming back here 10/10

Fab! Used them as wanted to use a local Toy Shop for balloons for my daughter’s 3rd Birthday. The owner (Jenny) responded to my enquiry really promptly and was super helpful. The staff couldn’t do enough to help and we were delighted with the balloons they prepared.
My daughter loved them too! Highly recommend. To add tried many online stores who didn’t reply or weren’t particularly helpful so I’m happy I went with local and independent.

I’ve had such a wonderful experience shopping here! On Tuesday I bought a Jellycat, and one of my students noticed that part of the logo looked slightly faded. It was such a subtle detail that I almost felt embarrassed bringing it up, but when I called them and went back to explain, the staff were kind and understanding, and they quickly exchanged it for me.
I also want to highlight that I have absolutely no doubt about its authenticity, as this shop is an official Jellycat retailer, it just gave me extra peace of mind for the future if I ever decide to sell it or give it as a gift.
In one week alone, I’ve already bought four Jellycats from this shop, and I’ll definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend for both the lovely products and the fantastic service!

I've been visiting this shop since it opened and love it! It's stocked with such lovely things - great for parties as well as children's gifts, cards for all ages and of course it's the go to place to buy balloons. Love seeing people coming out of the shop with their balloons! The staff are great. Really friendly and helpful and always give great gift ideas. We're so lucky to have an independent business like this in Muswell Hill.

Every time I come to Muswell Hill, I visit Cachao Toys. The owner is just so lovely, warm and friendly. This time I bought my grandkids a Vespa like scooter. They love it!!!! They take turns. One rides the Vespa, the other rides a regular scooter. It's a blast watching them!

Old fashioned toy shop, and absolute joy! Staff friendly and very helpful. One gentleman was being helped to purchase a birthday present for his 6 year old granddaughter. But be warned its not cheap.

They have a really beautiful selection of toys, arts and crafts and party supplies and are always so kind, thoughtful and helpful. They seem to genuinely enjoy interacting with customers and kids (even when the kids are stroppy or complaining!). We often nip in for something small and end up sticking around and browsing. Would love to see more wooden / sustainable toys down the line.

I live in Australia but my Son and his family are living in London.
After going to the post office and finding out my parcel to my 5 year old Grandson would not reach London in time for his birthday, I searched on line for some local London toy stores. I came across Cachao Toys and made contact. I received Jennie's reply promptly. She was SO helpful and after choosing a present,Jennie arranged the wrapping and a card to be delivered to my grandson in time for his birthdayl. So impressed. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.

Contacted Jennie, who is extremely helpful and lovely to deal with, to get supplies for a distanced 21st birthday celebration on our front door step! So prompt and delivered locally at no extra charge. Gorgeous party fare, unusual and very pretty things that you don't find in usual party shops.
I would thoroughly recommend for all balloons also, having had several failed attempts with online party stores, all requiring minimum charges, high delivery costs and one who didn't let me know balloons not in stock until day before needed. Jennie sorted that one out in her own time the same evening.
